Hult Prize 2026 On-Campus Round Held at BAUET

Sixty teams present innovative business ideas focusing on sustainable social solutions

The on-campus round of Hult Prize 2026, a globally recognized entrepreneurship competition, was successfully held at Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET), located in Qadirabad, Bagatipara of Natore district. The event was organized with the support of the university’s IQAC.

The program was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Brigadier General S M Lutfar Rahman. Among others present were Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Science & Humanities and Law; Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical & Computer Engineering and Director of IQAC; Major Md. Monjinul Mubeen (Retd.), Acting Registrar; department heads; and advisers of Hult Prize BAUET.

The judging panel included Sheikh Toufiqul Islam, Assistant Professor of Business Administration; Bristy Rani Roy, Assistant Professor of CSE; Samran Rahman, Business Analyst at Brain Station 23; and Asif Ishtiaq, Junior Product Manager at Raventdev. The event was moderated by Ridita Razzak, a student of the Department of Business Administration.

A total of 187 participants from 60 teams took part in the competition, making it vibrant and highly competitive. The participating teams presented innovative business ideas emphasizing sustainable solutions to pressing social challenges.

At the end of the event, the Vice-Chancellor distributed certificates, crests, and prize money among the winners. The organizers expressed hope that such initiatives would further enhance students’ entrepreneurial mindset, leadership qualities, and innovative thinking.
